In conjunction with our current exhibit, En Nuestra Imagen/In Our Image, three Latino/a artists shared their experiences as participants in the genesis of the Chicano Movement in California and beyond. Having lived through, and contributed to, an important historical time, these artists explained the political, cultural and historic impact of Chicano life.
Pancho Rodriguez, Juan R. Fuentes (originally from Watsonville), and Michelle Mouton carried on the conversation with emphasis on fine art. This event, co-sponsored by the Cabrillo College Gallery, took place on August 29th., if you’ve missed this wonderful event please click on the links below:

Sculpture IS 2016

Call for Entry

In 2016 Pajaro Valley Arts Council (PVAC) and Sierra Azul Nursery & Gardens will

celebrate their 10th anniversary of Sculpture IS.

PVAC is pleased to invite you to participate and create new work for this commemorative event.
Sculpture IS: 2016 will be shown in two exhibits; one of indoor sculptures "In the Gallery” at PVAC,
and one of outdoor sculptures “In the Garden” at Sierra Azul Nursery & Gardens.

The exhibition, Sculpture IS: 2016 "In the Gallery" will be held from May 4 through June19, 2016,
and Sculpture IS: 2016 "In the Garden" will be held from June 1 through October 31, 2016.
